Gifted students differ from other groups in their curiosity, their drive to ask questions and their desire for in-depth learning. In this section, we examine inquiry-based teaching/learning, which is thought to have an important role in the education of gifted students. We discuss what inquiry-based instruction is, the importance of asking questions, how inquiry is made, and the classification of inquiry-based instruction. In addition, we argue that questioning can be done at all levels, with examples of asking different questions and deepening knowledge, which can be effective not only in your teaching but also in your own learning.
