The learning environment is the place where the learning processes related to the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the individual are carried out in order to achieve the desired behaviour. It is divided into two areas:
- Formal learning environment
- Informal learning environments.
Preschools and high schools could be cited as formal learning environments. Informal learning environments means anything out of school. Actually, it includes everything that is done to adapt to society and life and to give them meaning. For example, streets, lakes, rivers, seas, beaches, swamp edges, zoos and botanical gardens, science and technology museums, parks, planetariums, etc. All of these have begun to be seen as educational environments where informal learning takes place (Kaya, 2019).
